Carved from old boxwood, this slender snuff-bottle-shaped vase combines delicate floral texture with dragon-form ears at the shoulders. The elongated body and narrow profile make it a graceful study object—equally at home in a scholar’s studio, on a bookshelf, or as part of a small altar grouping.
The surface is richly worked with flowers and foliage, giving the wood a tactile, textile-like quality. Dragon ears frame the neck, adding a subtle sense of power and protection to the otherwise gentle form. It can be appreciated purely as a small sculpture or used to hold a single dried stem or feather.
As a Tibetan temple collection piece, it’s intended to “amass wealth” and bring refined energy to the spaces where you read, write, and reflect.
