This charming bowl was currated from Nishapur town in Persia. This bowl is earthenware with hand-painted designs and has a clean glaze on the surface and a beautifully decorated border. This bowl is adorned with hand-painted motifs of fish and a mermaid. Fish have the connotations of wisdom in Islam. This bowl as a crackle finish overall.
