This 9" Tibetan Temple Collection statue presents Maitreya—the Laughing Buddha figure of joy and abundance—seated with a ruyi scepter and a treasure pot brimming with yuanbao and coins. Cast in old bronze with gilded silver and gold accents, the piece brings together symbols of contentment, authority, and material and spiritual wealth.
Maitreya is often associated with open-hearted laughter, ease, and the promise of a more compassionate future age. The ruyi, whose name means “as you wish,” has long been a symbol of auspicious power and wishes fulfilled. The treasure pot and coins beneath him speak to blessings that are not merely financial, but also relational and emotional: a sense of “enough,” of being supported.
The statue’s moderate size makes it an ideal focal piece for a home altar, console, or office shelf. The combination of aged bronze and selective gilding allows it to read as warm and luminous without feeling overly ornate—perfect for serene, thoughtfully curated interiors.

Placement & care
Place where its expression can be easily seen—living rooms, dining spaces, or offices—ideally at or slightly below eye level when standing or seated.
