This 4" Tibetan Temple Collection Padmasambhava amulet combines the weight of natural stone with the iconography of a beloved teacher. Formed from old natural gabbro (sometimes called “Gabbra”) with cinnabar accents, the piece takes the shape of a Buddha card or kapala-style pendant—flat enough to rest against a surface, substantial enough to feel reassuring in the hand.
Padmasambhava (Guru Rinpoche) is revered as the figure who helped establish Vajrayana Buddhism in Tibet, often associated with powerful, transformative blessings and protection from obstacles seen and unseen. In this amulet, his image is held within a dark, stone-like body, its surface showing the subtle texture and variations of natural material.
The scale and shape make this piece versatile. It can be placed flat on an altar or Buddha table, leaned gently against a support, tucked into a travel shrine, or carried as a portable Dharma companion. The combination of gabbro and cinnabar hints at both grounding and auspicious energy—earthy, steady, and quietly potent.
