This 16" Tibetan Temple Collection piece presents the vajra phurpa in a dramatic, sculptural form. The upper section combines mace-like and dorje (vajra) elements, richly finished in cinnabar tones, while the lower portion rises from an organic Bodhi root base that feels as if it has been lifted directly from the earth.
In Himalayan ritual tradition, the vajra symbolizes indestructible clarity and awakened mind, while the phurpa dagger form is used to “pin” or cut through negativity. Here, those symbols are reimagined as a temple-inspired object for the home—more contemplative than literal but still charged with the idea of grounded protection and focused intent.
The Bodhi root base introduces a powerful contrast: refined metalwork emerging from raw, twisting wood. It suggests insight rooted in lived experience and practice. Placed on an altar, console, or in a corner near prayer flags or scrolls, this piece draws the eye upward, inviting a moment of pause before you light incense, chant, or simply sit.

Placement & care
Place on a stable, flat surface where the full height can be appreciated—altar tables, sideboards, or shelves with generous vertical clearance. Because of the natural root base, ensure it is not placed near edges or in high-traffic areas. Dust gently with a soft brush or cloth; avoid strong cleaners and soaking. Treat as a symbolic ritual object rather than a functional tool.
