This Tibetan temple-style ghee teapot is a striking fusion of sculpture and ritual object. Cast from old bronze and richly finished in cloisonné enamel, the vessel features a powerful dragon handle, arched spout, and domed lid, all standing on a compact, architectural base.
At approximately 15 inches tall, it has a commanding presence without overwhelming a surface. The enamel decoration—layered in jewel-like colors across the body—recalls the elaborate vessels used in monasteries for ghee offerings, tea, or sacred liquids. While now best suited as a decorative ornament, it still carries the visual language of temple ritual and blessing.
Placed on an altar, console, or bookshelf, this dragon-handle flagon becomes an instant focal point, symbolically “town housing” and gathering auspicious energy in the home.
