This pair of 10" square bottle vases from the Tibetan Temple Collection unites dragon and phoenix motifs in richly worked cloisonné enamel. Cast in old bronze and finished with enamel-filled patterns, each vase features stylized dragons and phoenixes that wrap around the four faces of the square form, creating a balanced dialogue between yin and yang, strength and grace.

In East Asian symbolism, the dragon and phoenix are often paired as complementary forces: the dragon representing power and active yang energy, the phoenix embodying beauty, renewal, and yin. Together, they suggest harmony, auspicious partnership, and flourishing fortune—making these vases particularly suited to living rooms, dining spaces, or shared areas of the home.

The tall, narrow silhouette and square footprint lend themselves well to consoles, altar tables, and display cabinets. They can be left empty as sculptural objects, used with dried or faux stems, or incorporated into a larger temple-inspired arrangement with incense burners, offering bowls, and guardian figures.

Placement & care
Display as a pair—framing a central statue, mirror, or artwork—or separate them to echo the motif across a room. If using with stems, protect the interior with a removable liner if adding water, as prolonged moisture can affect metal. Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth; avoid abrasive cleaners and excessive direct sunlight to preserve enamel color and bronze patina.
